Outline of our research interests:
As Analytical Chemists we seek to develop new tools and experimental protocols to gain qualitative and quantitative information on the chemical composition of matter as well as to develop new strategies which allow us to monitor chemical reactions in liquids and solids over a broad time scale extending from a few milliseconds up to several days.
In 2008 QuantaRed Technologies was founded as a spin-off company of our research group. This company develops instruments based on quantum cascade laser technology. Our first product, The Eracheck, measures the hydrocarbon concentration in waste and production water of the petrochemical industry.
